Adupe for your interest in the Orisa Community Development Corporation. As much as we have accomplished and aspire to do in the future, we can do so much more with your skills and talent. It matters not whether you are an initiate of 20 years or have just been a believer for the past 20 days; we believe all have a contribution to make to the unity and empowerment to the Orisa Community.
As a member and service volunteer, you will play an important role in the daily operations that deliver the programs and initiatives that bring to fruition the vision of self-determination and empowerment that we all have for the Orisa Community. There are many volunteer and membership opportunities available within the organization. You can help out on an occasional basis as your schedule permits as a primarily financial member or continuously work with us throughout the year as a general member and eventually become a chief within one of our standing operating committees.
Membership in the Orisa CDC is open all that share our values and are willing to work towards our shared vision for the Orisa Community. We are looking for dependable, energetic and passionate volunteers to help build and strengthen our community as we of the Orisa CDC believe that one of the greatest ebos (offerings) any can make in their fervent prayers for a brighter, more empowered day for our community is that of sacrificing some of their own time in the service of their people.
In return, you will get leadership, management and organizational training that will strengthen your professional resume as you work with some of the most talented professionals in our community who help ensure the Orisa CDC always follows best practices in organizational effectiveness and execution. You will be mentored by senior professionals that have as many as 40 years experience in business, non-profit, and public sector management, all which will ensure that as you give, you will also receive an enriching professional experience.

Once we have received your information, our membership committee will contact you with next steps in the process – which includes scheduling you for the next new members’ orientation session followed by an assignment to one of our operating committees for members who will be volunteering time to the CDC. Those who sign up as primarily financial members also play a huge role in the success of the organization – and will be put in our database as a financial member. Upon completing this process, you will be ready to apply your skills and passion for the Orisa Community to where they will have the most impact.
